Attendees will learn what preventive maintenance is, how to inspect all of the components of a press, and how to identify and correct issues related to parallelism, bearing clearances, slide-guiding systems, clutch and brake systems and more.

Benjamin has more than 25 years of experience in the sheet metal tooling and forming industry, with expertise in cold-, hot- and hydroforming process validation. He started his career in the metals industry as a blacksmith at his family's company. Benjamin's first experience with the stamping industry came at the turn of this century, designing high-speed progressive dies for the electronic and medical products. He has been working for AutoForm since 2006, and currently serves as the technical manager at AutoForm México, where he started as a junior applications engineer. Benjamin's duties include giving commercial presentations and demos, implementing solutions, coordinating training, and providing support to customers.
Benjamin has a Mechanical-Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Guadalajara and holds a master's degree in Mechatronics from the Fachhochschule Aachen.
Enrique Parra (Mexico Sales Manager at Unist) has over 14 years of experience in the metal-forming industry, working for twelve of those years as a distributor representative dedicated to Stamping, Laser Marking, and Metal Sheet fabrication for the automotive, aerospace, appliance, and medical industries. Enrique graduated from La Salle University as an Electrical Engineer in 2002. He has completed multiple specialized sales and service training in Europe, Asia, and America. Since 2020 he is fully dedicated with UNIST in assisting manufacturing companies with identifying areas to improve manufacturing processes, working conditions, and save money in their lubrication process for stock lubrication and Minimum Quantity Lubrication. He currently manages and has grown four independent distributors in his Mexico territory.
Carlos Ramirez has 5 years of experience in the sheet forming industry working at AutoForm Engineering México. He is a mechanical engineer graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico de Querétaro in 2015. He began working as an applications engineer at AutoForm, performing basic support and training activities for new users. He is currently specialized in the design of contact surfaces for the sheet forming process and focused on technical support with clients in the south central zone of the country. He monitoring projects with clients and prospects, and giving various trainings for the use of different software solutions.
